Where
is Jeremy working?
Jeremy
is currently the Big Screen Manager for the North East & North
West of England. The screens are situated in town and city centres,
and are used as a digital information point and a focus for big
events. It is a growing network of BBC screens across the UK, usually
run in partnership with local councils.
Jeremy looks after the scheduling of content on the screen, as well
as helping local community groups get their material on!
Before
this role, Jeremy was the Head of Programmes/Programmes Editor at
BBC Radio Humberside in charge of the daytime output of the radio
station. He still works as a presenter on his local station BBC
York.
Jeremy
is also a presenter/facilitator on BBC Upfront, the induction programme
which all new employees to the BBC have to attend. Jeremy regularly
hosts the two day course and ensures that new starters get the best
out of their time with the corporation.
